I am not a racist ... Am I?

I am yet to watch the movie, heard the producer over a podcast and questioned my self...

It is very less known that Indians are very discriminatory... they have their minds set of ways to separate to evaluate... in many Indian families its almost a lifeskill to identify each person as part of one or other group and evaluate differences from their own.

Through history, as oppressed people Indians used this to protect their culture and believe systems... The question is do we need this now... do we need this skill anymore?

Do they make me a racist ...

As I raise my son , I ask this question everyday... should i take this skill forward or let my son free of it?
